Yrkesgymnasiet Ale is primarily looking for a licensed vocational teacher in electrical and energy specializing in electrical engineering. Even if you have at least five years of work experience in electrical and energy, you are welcome to apply.

Here, students learn a profession from scratch in real workplaces with experienced supervisors. In this position, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge with future electricians. We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed teacher in electrical and energy, or has at least five years of experience in electrical and energy specializing in electrical engineering, and a strong drive to teach and guide students.
• Is an excellent communicator and team player who can act as a bridge builder between the school, students, and the business community.
• Has a driver's license and preferably access to own car.
• Has the ability to work independently while being team-oriented and collaborating with colleagues to best prepare students for their future careers.

Qualifications

Teaching degree or solid experience in electrical and energy, electrical engineering industry, and a desire to inspire and develop the next generation of electricians. Teacher certification and pedagogical experience are desirable but not required.
